How to delete my credit karma account?
I was a happy user of
credit karma (creditkarma.com) until I noticed every time I login to their
website it runs a soft inquiry on my account. They call it "a soft query" or "soft
inquiry" but honestly, I don’t want any inquiries on my account. When I was
doing research how to delete my credit karma account? I found out lots of
people are searching the same topic but there is not much information available.
So, let’s get to the
point and delete/deactivate your credit karma account in easy way..
1.
Click on the link below and it will take
you to the account help page (https://www.creditkarma.com/about/help)
2.
Scroll down where it says “How can we help?”
3.
Choose “Cancel my Account” and it will prompt log in.
4.
Login
to your account with your credentials.
5.
You’ll see the same screen as step 2 and step 3.
6.
After selecting cancel my account it
will prompt “Get Start” and it will prompt “now
you are able to cancel your account… And ask you to visit “Account Cancelation” to complete your
cancelation process.
7.
Once you hit account cancelation; it
will prompt message in red color “Confirm
Cancelation”
8.
Hit confirm and it will ask you to log
in again when you try to log in it will show error “This account has been deactivated”
Note: Once deleted/
deactivated the account you won’t be able to create new login for 6 months.
